obtaining your RSS and Google Reader feeds

To configure your coordinating networking/feed buttons, you'll need to get the URLs for your blog's RSS feed and Google Reader feed. It's super simple.

1. To obtain your RSS feed, click the RSS button that appears in your browser address window, to the far right. It'll look something like this:

A new browser page will appear, showing your RSS feed. It'll look something like this:

Move your cursor up to the browser window, highlight the URL (http://... address) that appears, and copy/paste it to your clipboard/desktop. The URL will look something like this:

feed://www.rainydaytemplates.com/feeds/posts/default

This is the address you'll plug into your RSS networking button's HTML code.

2. To obtain your Google Reader feed, go to http://www.google.com/reader/view/

Click "Add a Subscription" and enter your blog address into the window that appears. When the page refreshes, showing your blog content, grab the URL in the browser window.

This is the address you'll plug into your Google Reader networking button's code (the "G").
